Experience: 6-10 Years

Key Responsibilities:
● Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spend across AWS and Azure environments
● Implement cost governance frameworks, budgets, and forecasting models
● Identify cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, reserved instances, and savings plans
● Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to drive cost-efficient architecture
● Build and maintain dashboards for cloud cost visibility and reporting
● Conduct regular cost audits and ensure adherence to financial policies
● Automate cost monitoring and alerting mechanisms
● Provide recommendations for improving cloud financial management practices

Required Skills & Expertise:
● Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cost management tools
● Deep understanding of cloud billing, pricing models, and cost optimization strategies
● Experience with tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and third-party FinOps tools
● Knowledge of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot Instances
● Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell) for automation
● Familiarity with tagging strategies and cost allocation models
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:
● FinOps Certified Practitioner or similar certification
● Experience with tools like CloudHealth, Cloudability, or native cloud monitoring tools
● Understanding of multi-cloud environments and governance
